Today we discussed the left/right endpoint method andt the trapezoidal rule for estimating integrals. We also looked at the Mathematica notebook NumericalIntegration.nb.- Assigned Homework:
Try to modify the Mathematica code for estimating integrals via the right endpoint method to create code for implementing the trapezoidal rule. If you get the code working, estimate the integrals given in Problems 1 and 5 in Section 7.1. If you can't get the code working, estimate the integrals by hand using the Trapezoidal rule.- Monday, September 8, 2008
