Wavelets and Applications

Patrick Van Fleet, CAM Director, recently learned that his proposal entitled "Wavelets and Applications: A Multi-Disciplinary Undergraduate Course With an Emphasis on Scientific Computing" has been funded by the National Science Foundation.  The grant will run from June 1, 2005 through May 31, 2007.  Van Fleet will finish his text on wavelets, develop software and labs for the wavelets course, and conduct workshops at St. Thomas for faculty interested in teaching the course.
