Greetings from Target's Guest Research and Analytics team. We are a group of (20) data analysts and statisticians that provide analytical support to Target's Merchandising Division (i.e. the folks who decide what's in a Target) and Marketing Division (i.e. present the Target Brand to our customers). Our analysis projects include: product affinity analysis, cluster analysis of store-level data, predictive modeling for response to direct mail, optimization of circular content, etc. I wanted
to let you know that we are looking for an intern this summer and thought you might have interested students. We had our team's first summer interns last summer and I believe it was a mutually beneficial relationship for both the interns and our team.
